BENIN - ECTN/BESC

As per CNCB order, from 1 June 2013, BL copy (original or not negotiable) and copy of commercial invoice must be attached to ECTN BENIN for validation.

Values (goods, freight, others cost) requested on the ECTN are those paid by the importer in BENIN.

CONAKRY GUINEA - CTN/BSC

CONAKRY GUINEA– Procedures Cargo Tracking Notes (CTN).

In accordance with the Guinea Federal Executive Council’s decision of December

9th 2009, every shipment to Guinea has to be covered by a CTN issued at the loading port as from January 11th 2010 (B/L date).

BURKINA FASO - ECTN

All shipments/ cargo with the destination Burkina Faso (via a foreign port of discharge), should be accompanied by an ECTN application. Once the ECTN has been granted, the ECTN will receive a Unique Registration Number or URN number. This number should be endorsed on the Bill of Lading and is required by the Burkinabese Shippers Council (CBC).

CAMEROON – BESC

For tracking the transport costs, security and transportation of the goods, Cameroon introduced the law 00557/MINT on 11th July 2006.

By this law, for all cargo to or from Cameroon, the shipper or its representative must establish the ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) in order to unload the cargo in Cameroon.

THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC - ECTN/CTN/BSC

According to African countries in 2010 onwards the implementation of the provisions of the various regions of Africa goods before shipment must obtain a CTN NO., And indicate the cargo tracking a single number (CTN NO) in the bill of lading and manifests, otherwise shipping companies may not lead to the issuance of the original bill of lading, port of destination, the customer cannot clearance and high fines resulting government.

DR CONGO – FERI

Any cargo, loading or unloading in Democratic Republic of Congo  must be covered by an electronic cargo tracking note (FERI)(Fiche Electronique de Renseignement à I’Importation) validated by D.R. Congo or its representative (article 4 of the ministerial order of the D.R. Cameroon, year 2010, n° 00687

GABON – BIETC

An Electronic Bordereau d’Identification et de Traçabilité des Cargaisons (BIETC) now replaces the Bordereau d’Identification des cargaisons (BIC). This cargo tracking note is compulsory for customs clearance for cargo entering Gabon.
